An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Contract Administrator to join a well-established commercial builder on a 6-month contract, delivering a high-profile commercial retail redevelopment in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

This is an excellent opportunity to step onto a live project with a collaborative team and play a key role in ensuring successful project delivery from a commercial perspective.

The Role Working closely with the Project Manager and Site Team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial management of the project, ensuring subcontractors, procurement and project costs are managed effectively throughout the build.

Key Responsibilities

- Procurement and letting of subcontract packages
- Preparation and administration of subcontract agreements
- Management of variations and contractual correspondence
- Assessment and processing of progress claims
- Cost reporting and budget tracking
- Management of RFIs and project documentation
- Liaising with subcontractors, consultants and suppliers




- Supporting the Project Manager to deliver the project on programme and within budget

About You

- Previous experience as a Contract Administrator on commercial construction projects
- Experience working on retail, commercial, refurbishment or mixed-use developments
- Strong understanding of procurement, cost management and contract administration
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment
- A proactive attitude with strong organisational skills
- Available for an immediate start or at short notice
