Job Description

Epworth Richmond is seeking experienced and motivated Scrub Scout Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Orthopaedics team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

- Delivering high-quality nursing care to ensure patient safety throughout the theatre journey
- Proactively evaluate the nursing care provided to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, as a Registered Nurse on a theatre team composed of patient-centred nurses, you are an effective communicator who adapts easily to various situations. You naturally demonstrate compassion and empathy toward patients. With a solutions-focused mindset, you prioritise the patient's needs in every decision you make, and you enjoy working collaboratively with your team.

- Current AHPRA registration
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in the role of Orthopaedics Scrub & Scout is essential
- Ability to work 7 day rotating roster (mix of AM and PM shifts)
- Ability to be available for weekend on-call




- Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing will be highly regarded but not essential

Salary

The annual salary range for full time Registered Nurses – AUD $85,732 - $107,669 + super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level and position/experience (prorated for part time).
