BKV Aged Care Pty Ltd, trading as Rosewood Gardens, has been caring for older Australians and people with disability for more than 11 years. We provide residential care (Nursing Home) in Melbourne and deliver in-home aged care, disability and community support services across Sydney and Melbourne.

About the Role

Working in home care is more than a job - it is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's everyday life. Our home-care services help older Australians and people with disability remain safe, comfortable, independent and connected in the place they value most: their own home.

We are seeking reliable and compassionate Personal Care Assistants, Support Workers and Domestic Assistance Workers to join our growing Sydney team. You will build meaningful one-to-one relationships with clients and their families, tailoring support to individual care plans while promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.

Where possible, you will be matched with clients near your home and surrounding suburbs. No two days are the same, and every interaction matters.

Key Responsibilities

· Build positive, respectful and professional relationships with clients and their families.

· Support clients to achieve and maintain wellbeing, independence and personal goals in accordance with their individual care plans and service plans.

· Assist with day-to-day household tasks, including cleaning, tidying, vacuuming, laundry and general domestic assistance.

· Assist with meal preparation, shopping and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.

· Transport clients to medical appointments, shopping, community activities and social engagements.

· Provide companionship, social support and respite for family members or carers.

· Provide personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing, grooming, toileting,



hygiene and mobility, where appropriately qualified, trained and assessed as competent.

· Provide medication assistance only within your training, competency and authorised scope.

· Promote reablement, choice, dignity, cultural safety and active participation rather than doing everything for the client.

· Monitor clients' health, wellbeing, behaviour and home environment, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the relevant manager.

· Complete accurate progress notes and service records after each visit.

· Maintain professional boundaries and follow workplace health and safety, infection-control, privacy and safeguarding requirements.

· Represent Rosewood Gardens positively and professionally in the community.

· Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends or public holidays according to your availability.

Qualifications and Experience

· Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or an equivalent qualification is highly regarded.

· Previous experience in aged care, disability support, home care, personal care or community services is highly desirable.

· Applicants without a formal care qualification may be considered for suitable domestic assistance or social-support duties, subject to experience, screening, training and the requirements of each client.





· Personal-care duties will only be assigned to workers who hold the appropriate qualification and have completed the required training and competency checks.

Mandatory Requirements

· A valid Australian driver licence.

· Access to a reliable, registered and comprehensively insured motor vehicle suitable for work-related travel.

· A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.

· A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one.

· A Working with Children Check where required, or willingness to obtain one.

· Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain them before commencing relevant duties.

· Evidence of the right to work in Australia.

· Compliance with vaccination requirements relevant to the role, client setting and current public-health directions.

· Competitive pay under the applicable Aged Care or Home Care Award, generally ranging from $43 to $47

per hour, plus superannuation
