Your Role as a Physiotherapist

As a Physiotherapist with our Chermside Allied Health team, you'll deliver person-centred services across aged care, disability, community, and wellbeing settings. You’ll empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by:

- Provide high level physiotherapy services to customers presenting with a wide range of disability and functional needs.

- Deliver individual and group services, balancing direct treatment with supervised therapy to enhance the customer experience.

- Work across services and sites within WMQ dependent upon service requirements.

- Complete accurate assessment and review of physical needs of customers, and to provide a consultancy service for a range of activities to a wide range of customers.

- Provide instruction, supervision and education to customers, support workers and other carers as required.

- Identify opportunities to provide other cross disciplinary services which may be of benefit to the customer.

- Ensure that the customer is an active participant in the development and review of treatment goals and planning.

- Ensure that positive and professional relationships and rapport are developed and maintained with customers.

This role is offering full-time hours however we are also open to applications seeking a part time opportunity as a Physiotherapist!

What We’re Looking For

- Relevant qualifications in Physiotherapy.

- Current registration with AHPRA.

- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with staff, clients, and families.

- Exceptional communication skills and a focus on patient-centred care.

Essential Requirements

- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)

- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.

- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work.
