Ezylime is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our team in Parkes, NSW. This is a full-time position that will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our quarrying and mining facility.
What you'll be doing
1. Safely and efficiently operating a range of heavy machinery and equipment used in the quarrying process, including crushers, screens, loaders and haul trucks
2. Undertaking pre-start checks and routine maintenance on plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
3. Monitoring and adjusting equipment settings to maintain production targets and product quality
4. Working collaboratively with the wider quarrying team to support efficient and streamlined operations
5. Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
What we're looking for
1. Demonstrated experience as a Plant Operator in the construction or mining industry,
with a robust understanding of quarrying processes and equipment
2. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment issues
3. A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with others
5. Someone who can show initiative and work collaboratively as part of a strong quarry team
