The Opportunity

With our continuous growth at Qube Bulk, we are looking to employ an experienced Regional Manager on a permanent full‑time basis to join our Heavy Lift Operations.

The position manages the regional operational budget, drives cost‑control initiatives, and ensures accurate financial processes. It champions a strong safety culture, HSEQ compliance, audits, and incident investigations, while ensuring all personnel are trained, competent, and aligned with company and customer standards. This role will report to the General Manager.

Location

Rockingham with travel as required.

Specific Responsibilities

- Manage the compliance of health, safety and environmental obligations and requirements
- Manage the compliance of all customers, quality assurance and documentation and procedural requirements
- Manage the development, implementation and execution of the Regional Business Plan
- Provide effective leadership and development opportunities to line managers and superintendents
- Manage the operating cost performance of the region, including the development and management of the budget and the achievement of agreed performance targets
- Assist with future regional projects in terms of identification of the opportunity, operational design and execution plans
- Liaise professionally with customers,



regulatory authorities and suppliers to promote Qube Bulk in a positive way
- Provision of timely and accurate data input and reporting on the region’s operational performance and business development activities
- Providing leadership and guidance to frontline leaders and operational staff following best practice
- Willingness to travel to remote sites across Australia

Qualifications and Experience

- Broad knowledge of logistics, trucking / bulk haulage / port services / bulk storage and handling with an in-depth knowledge of mobile fleet and associated equipment
- Operations management experience in logistics/transport/mining services/stevedoring industry
- Experience within the mobile crane industry would be advantageous
- Track record managing a business unit of similar scale, setting and delivering a budget, leading similar sized team, negotiating an employee agreement, managing an operation safely
- Commercial and contract management
- Budget and business P & L accountability
- Prior Exposure to safety culture in resources/oil & gas & logistics sectors
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing and developing employees, ideally gained in a port, mining, logistics or heavy industry environment
- Diploma or degree in Business, Logistics or related area, equivalent or greater
- Strong or related experience interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point
- Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
- Ability to work well within a small team setting
