Senior Structural Engineer – Ports & Marine

Based in Brisbane, you’ll join Aurecon’s global centre of excellence in Ports, Marine & Coastal, playing a key role in shaping and delivering projects across Australasian ports.

What You’ll Do

- Advise clients on complex engineering projects from concept to delivery.
- Work with high‑performing multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges.
- Deliver high‑quality advice that informs decisions.
- Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions.
- Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance.

What You’ll Bring

- Relevant engineering qualifications and 6+ years’ experience with substantial experience in marine structural and port engineering.
- Proven ability to shape, lead and deliver projects across the full lifecycle.
- Strong track record of building trusted client relationships through high‑quality delivery,



with solid project and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to learning and developing alongside industry‑leading technical experts.
- Ability to communicate complex marine and structural concepts clearly to clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong structural engineering foundations, with the capability to develop bespoke design solutions and mentor junior team members.
- The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions.
