- Play a key leadership role in a first-of-its-kind project to strengthen counter terrorism preparedness at NSW’s busiest transport interchanges.
- Manage a team developing operational plans that enable Transport to prepare for and respond to security incidents at high-profile, high-density locations.
- Lead engagement with diverse stakeholders to produce and implement policies that protect passengers, frontline staff and critical infrastructure from security threats.For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description and information pack. About you • Experienced policy professional with relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Capable of simultaneously delivering multiple work programs in a context of limited resources and tight deadlines.
- Adaptable, highly driven and able to work collaboratively in a complex stakeholder environment,



with the willingness to work outside regular hours and travel on occasion.This is a temporary opportunity from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2028, based in Sydney (Elizabeth Street) with adaptable hybrid working arrangements available.
