Job Title: Power BI With Data Modelling, SSIS

Location: Sydney (Onsite)

Contract

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Data Modelling , SSIS , and Power BI to support the enhancement and optimization of enterprise reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Fine-tune and optimize existing data models to improve reporting performance and scalability.
- Design, develop, and maintain effective data models for Power BI reporting.
- Develop and enhance SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple source systems.
- Integrate new data feeds from various source systems into the existing data warehouse and reporting environment.
- Build and optimize Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards to deliver accurate and actionable business insights.
- Improve query performance using optimized data modelling techniques and DAX.




- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand reporting requirements and implement scalable solutions.
- Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning across ETL and reporting layers.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance throughout the reporting lifecycle.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Engineering.
- Robust experience in Data Modelling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Dimensional Modelling).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS for ETL development and data integration.
- Strong expertise in Power BI , including Power Query, DAX, data modelling, dashboards, and report development.
- Experience working with SQL Server and writing complex SQL queries.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization for Power BI datasets and reports.
