Practice Manager | Accounting Practice

Northern Suburbs, Perth | Up to $120,000 + Super Are you an experienced Practice Manager or Senior Bookkeeper looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact? Our client is a well-established, boutique accounting practice in Perth’s northern suburbs seeking a highly organised and proactive Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm while providing hands-on bookkeeping and accounting support.

This is a varied role that combines practice management, team coordination and senior bookkeeping, making it ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats in a collaborative and skilled environment. About the Role

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the practice while supporting the accounting team across a range of operational and financial functions. Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting practice

Manage workflow, job scheduling and practice administration

Provide senior bookkeeping support for a portfolio of clients

Process payroll, BAS, IAS and GST obligations

Complete bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations

Prepare management reports and assist with month-end processes

Maintain Xero and other cloud-based accounting systems

Coordinate ASIC annual reviews and compliance administration





Liaise with clients, the ATO and external stakeholders

Support the Directors with business operations and office management

Mentor and assist junior administration staff where required About You To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

Previous experience as a Practice Manager within a public practice accounting firm or extensive senior bookkeeping experience

Strong knowledge of Australian accounting practices and compliance

Experience using Xero (essential)

Excellent organisational and time management skills A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work autonomously

Outstanding communication and client relationship skills

High attention to detail and a willingness to support wherever needed What’s on Offer?
