Anodyne is a specialist medical health service focused on providing advanced treatments for chronic pain and treatment-resistant mental illness. We're looking for an exceptional Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our practice.
This is far more than a traditional practice management role. You'll be responsible for leading a high-performing administration team, driving operational excellence, improving systems and processes, supporting clinicians, and ensuring every patient receives an outstanding experience.
About the Role
Reporting to the executive leadership team, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of the practice and play a key role in ensuring the business runs efficiently, professionally and compliantly.
No two days are the same. You'll work closely with doctors, nurses, patients and external stakeholders while leading a busy administration team and continually improving how the practice operates.
Your Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for
- Leading, mentoring and managing the administration team.
- Overseeing daily practice operations and patient flow.
- Managing staff rosters, payroll and onboarding/offboarding.
- Maintaining exceptional patient service standards.
- Managing accounts,
invoicing and third-party billing.
- Coordinating practice management systems.
- Developing and maintaining policies, procedures and operational workflows.
- Coordinating patient and staff feedback programs.
- Liaising with hospitals, referrers, suppliers, contractors and marketing partners.
- Ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, AHPRA requirements, privacy legislation and workplace health and safety obligations.
- Managing facilities, maintenance, office supplies and the overall presentation of the practice.
- Supporting executive leadership with strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You'll be an experienced leader who thrives in a quick-paced healthcare environment and enjoys creating structure, improving systems and developing people.
You'll ideally have
- Previous experience as a Practice Manager within healthcare.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with payroll, invoicing and financial administration.
- Confidence managing competing priorities and solving problems independently.
- A continuous improvement mindset.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong computer literacy including Office 365 Applications and experience using practice management software.
