Key Responsibilities: Prepper - Full Time.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Cut, shape, and prepare materials for welding.
- Grind, sand and Bog using power tools to prepare products for paint after welders have finished
- Optimal but not necessary: Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, ARC, Oxy) to fabricate and repair metal products.
Quality Control
- Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and visual quality.
- Use measuring tools to pass QA checks on the products
- Ensure all work meets company and customer specifications.
Safety & Maintenance
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements.
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and workspace in protected working condition.
- Identify and report hazards or defects immediately.
General Workshop Duties
- Assist with assembly, fitting, and other metal fabrication tasks as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Keep accurate job records and complete documentation where required.
