St Mary's Cathedral College Sydney is seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate Primary Classroom Teacher. This is a full-time, temporary position, commencing Monday, 10 August 2026 and concluding Tuesday, 6 October 2026.

About You

As a Primary Classroom Teacher (Year 5), you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll be able to:

- create and implement engaging,



rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of student
- demonstrate sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.

You will have attained:
- a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
