EnergyQuest is an Australian energy consultancy established in 2005. It has a unique position in Australian energy consulting based on subscription reports, long term multi-client forecasting and bespoke consulting. Its client base covers most of Australia's oil and gas international majors through to small independents, and state and federal government departments.

The solid performance of our consulting practice means we have a need for additional resources in this area. EnergyQuest specialises in energy market analysis, including production and supply analysis, demand analysis, pricing forecasts. and policy impacts. It is not a project management or technical engineering consultancy.

The Principal

Consultant is responsible for delivering high‑quality consulting projects on energy markets, managing client relationships, contributing to subscription publications,



and supporting the growth of EnergyQuest’s business and intellectual property. Responsibilities

Deliver high quality consulting reports

Client management - including working at C-suite levels

Project leadership to deliver the reports on time and within budget

Business Development and IP Enhancement Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

Minimum 10 years, and preferably more than 15 years, at a senior-level in an energy related field.

Clear logical thinker who can explain complex ideas concisely

Solid written and spoken communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.

Proven team player.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and data analysis.
