As Principal Lead – Business performance and Strategic Operations, you'll act as a trusted advisor to executive leaders, helping connect priorities across multiple functions, simplify complexity and accelerate delivery against strategic objectives. You'll play a critical role in improving organisational effectiveness by driving accountability, governance, business performance and transformation outcomes.

What You'll Do

- Partner with senior executives and leadership teams to translate strategy into operational plans, priorities and measurable outcomes.

- Connect activity across multiple business functions, ensuring dependencies, risks, opportunities and trade-offs are identified and effectively managed.

- Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights, recommendations and decision support to executive stakeholders.

- Drive governance, planning and operating rhythms that improve business performance, accountability and delivery discipline.

- Lead the development and execution of business operations roadmaps that support strategic priorities and business plans, including OPEX and CAPEX planning, while proactively identifying risks, dependencies and mitigation strategies.

- Lead and support strategic initiatives, transformation activities and business improvement programs that deliver sustainable outcomes.

- Help leaders prioritise effectively by balancing competing demands and focusing effort on the highest-value work.

- Strengthen portfolio performance through greater visibility of commitments, risks, actions and progress against objectives.

- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance across a diverse and complex operating environment.

- Influence enterprise-wide outcomes through strong stakeholder engagement, executive presence and cross-functional leadership.

- Simplify complexity by synthesising information,



identifying themes and providing explicit, actionable recommendations.

- Support commercial, operational and transformation outcomes through data-driven insights and strategic business management practices.

- Champion continuous improvement and modern ways of working that enhance organisational effectiveness and execution.

You're a strategic operator and trusted advisor who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments. You bring strong commercial acumen, exceptional stakeholder management skills and a demonstrated ability to influence at senior executive levels.

You know how to navigate ambiguity, build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups and drive outcomes through influence rather than authority. You are highly relationship-oriented, emotionally intelligent and confident challenging thinking constructively to improve business outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

- Significant experience in strategic business operations, executive partnering, business management, transformation or portfolio leadership.

- Demonstrated success supporting senior leaders to execute strategy across large, complex organisations.

- Proven commercial and business acumen, with an ability to understand operational performance, business drivers and strategic trade-offs.

- Experience leading governance, planning, business performance and executive reporting processes.

- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across matrixed environments.

- Strong change management and transformation experience.

- Excellent judgement, resilience and ability to operate autonomously.

- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to translate complexity into clear business insights and recommendations.

- A track record of improving organisational performance, alignment and execution.

- High emotional intelligence, credibility and executive presence.
