Our client is a large NSW Government orgasnisation who are seeking a Principal Policy Officer to join their team.

The role will leading the development, design, delivery and implementation of a portfolio of policy initiatives and strategic projects to support the delivery of the Student Behavior Strategy. This will involve:

- Lead and undertake research, analysis and review of complex policy issues, identifying emerging issues, and developing evidence-based options and strategies, to ensure problems are resolved and risks are mitigated.

- Lead and oversee all aspects of policy development and project management and implementation to ensure project outcomes are achieved.

- Lead and facilitate stakeholder engagement,



consultation and negotiation on issues to identify and develop solutions and make recommendations.

Selection Criteria:

- Experience at the Principal Policy Officer, or equivalent level.

- Ability to leading development, design, delivery and implementation of a portfolio of policy initiatives and strategic projects;

- Desirable, not essential: Policy experience within education, or a Student Behaviour related area.

On offer is a 12 month contract at a large NSW Government organisation, at a highly desirable daily rate of up to $880 per day including Superannuation.
