About The Role
- Full-time position
- Regular hours - 7.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
We are looking for a top performing, energetic Procurement Officer to support the Procurement Department in a portfolio of products sourced from local and overseas suppliers.
Reporting to the Aftermarket Inventory Supervisor, the role requires strong attention to detail, plus a thorough and methodical approach to ensure processes are followed and all documentation is completed accurately.
In addition to the above, your key responsibilities will include:
- Ordering and checking of stock, assist in stock take
- Inventory maintenance
- Negotiate pricing
- Processing/keying supplier invoices/shipments, verifying freight and supplier costs
- Following up outstanding orders
- Stock distribution and transfers
- Arrange shipping and documentation
- Raise and manage purchase orders with local and overseas suppliers
- Assisting sales staff with enquiries
- Daily e-mail correspondence
Desirable
- Experience using Pronto software
- Experience with spare parts
- Team oriented with a collaborative approach
Required
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to retain information
- Experience in data analysis
- Impeccable time management and understanding work priorities
- Excellent communication/written skills
- Sound understanding of procurement practices and experience working in a similar role
- Excellent keyboard skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
