THE POSITION

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and manage our production operations and drive operational excellence within our manufacturing facility.

Reporting to the Executive Manager - Operations, you will be responsible for production, assembly & kitting processes, ensuring operations run safely, efficiently and meet customer delivery requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Lead and manage production teams to achieve production schedules, DIFOT, productivity, quality and cost targets.

- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, including hazard identification, toolbox talks and corrective actions.

- Manage labour planning, staffing and workforce development to ensure efficient use of resources.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles to improve plant performance.

- Monitor and manage operational KPIs to ensure production and quality targets are met.

- Ensure compliance with company quality, safety and environmental standards including ISO and IATF requirements.

THE PERSON





You are a motivated and approachable leader who enjoys working with people and creating a positive team setting. With a strong background in manufacturing operations, you bring the ability to lead teams, solve problems and drive improvements across production.

To be considered for this role, you would bring:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a production supervision or management role.

- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

- Experience with ERP systems, production scheduling and work orders.

- Sound knowledge of Work Health & Safety practices.

- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

- Tertiary qualification in engineering, manufacturing or a related discipline (preferred)

- Familiarity with heavy truck or trailer industry (preferred).
