We pride ourselves on strength, reliability, and local craftsmanship. As we continue to grow and streamline our production processes, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Planner to join our team on-site in Braeside.

The Role

Working within our team, you will play a pivotal role in keeping our factory floor moving efficiently. You will be responsible for scheduling manufacturing operations, balancing line capacities, and ensuring production targets align with dealer demand and delivery dates across Australia.

The scope of the role focusses on production planning, inventory planning, MRP/SAP discipline, scheduling and planning governance.

You will be accountable for improving the operating rhythm and standard planning processes within our business alongside our production leads.

Key Responsibilities

- Production Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and monitor daily/weekly production schedules for assembly, welding, and trailer fabrication.
- Capacity Planning: Coordinate workflow and allocate factory resources (labor, machinery, floor space) to maximize throughput and minimize bottlenecks.
- Materials Alignment: Work closely with Procurement and Inventory teams to ensure components, and parts are on-site to match production schedules.
- Cross-Department Communication: Serve as the central link between Production, Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics to provide accurate lead-time estimates and production updates.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve assembly line efficiency,



reduce scrap/waste, and shorten cycle times.
- BOM Development: Continue to refine and implement ongoing BOM development across our product range.
- Reporting: Track and report on KPIs such as Schedule Attainment, On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery, and production cycle times utilising Lean Visual controls to communicate key information with our operations.
- Administration: Manage the regulatory administrative requirements associates with Vehicle Manufacturing, Vin Allocation, Rover, Nevdis etc. Along with Despatch functions associated with our manufacturing operations.

About You To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:

- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or coordinating within a manufacturing, heavy assembly, or automotive/metal fabrication workplace.
- ERP/MRP Proficiency: Strong experience using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Pronto, MYOB Advanced, or similar) for bill of materials (BOM) and job card management.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Sharp analytical skills with the ability to adjust schedules on the fly when supply chain disruptions or priority shifts occur.
- Communication: Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between office staff and workshop floor supervisors.
- Technical Mindset: Familiarity with metal manufacturing, welding, or vehicle/trailer assembly is highly advantageous.
