With steelmaking coal being an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world, this is an fantastic opportunity to join a leading growing client with a focus on sustainability, innovation and progression within the workforce and supporting local communities.

What You Will Be Doing

- Reporting to Production Superintendent: Truck & Shovel

- Transport to and from Middlemount to site provided (Company vehicle)

- Leading and supervising production crews to meet daily safety and production targets

- Promoting and enforcing the Site Safety Health Management System, and all statutory requirements

What You Will Need

- Equipment operating experience minimum 5 years’ experience in coal

- Current Standard 11 and Mining Supervisor competencies (G1, G2, G8, G9)





- Proven leadership experience in an open-cut mining environment (3-5 years’ experience)

- Flexible, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to adapt to change
