The Role
Within the Project Control function, an EL 1 Project Controller is accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve very complex planning, scheduling and control work within an integrated workforce.
What you will be doing:
- Managing financial, schedule and performance controls for ACSPO projects. The role supports governance through accurate reporting.
- Accountable to provide experienced and accurate project and program monitoring and controlling advice and solutions for risks and opportunities.
- Identify risks, uncertainties and opportunities during the planning process and develop and implement agreed recommendations that contribute to project outcomes.
- Provide clear direction to project teams on performance monitoring, control techniques, conducts regular reviews, and addresses under performance promptly.
- Assess and evaluate planning and scheduling activities against critical factors and recommend continuous improvement.
About our Team
ACSPO organisationally sits in the Aerospace Combat Systems Branch in CASG, within the Department of Defence. ACSPO is the aviation asset management in-service support agency for the Australian F-35A Lightning II Air System.
ACSPO engages with local, regional and international enterprise partners and suppliers of the F-35 Global program; consisting of both foreign governments and industry, to provide sustainment support for the Capability Manager, the Royal Australian Air Force. ACSPO is based at RAAF Williamtown in NSW and supports the Australian F-35A Fleet.
The F-35A aircraft are based at RAAF Williamtown and RAAF Tindal in the Northern Territory.
The primary focus for ACSPO is governing across the Australian F-35A Air Combat Capability. This includes the ongoing management, execution and continuous improvement of the various governance frameworks, processes and procedures in order to provide leading aviation asset management.
