Coates Group – Installation Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Installation Project Manager to manage a 12‑18 month fixed‑term contract. The role will lead the delivery of complex signage, shopfitting and retail fit‑out projects from planning to handover, coordinating installation crews, subcontractors and suppliers across multiple sites remotely.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of multi‑site signage, shopfitting and fit‑out installations.
- Remotely coordinate installation crews, subcontractors, trades and suppliers across sites.
- Build and manage installation schedules, site access, milestones and dependencies.
- Act as the central point of contact for clients and installation teams, resolving issues quickly.
- Drive site safety, quality and compliance for every installation.
- Manage data and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of multiple sites simultaneously.





Qualifications and Experience

- 5+ years’ experience managing physical installation, signage, shopfitting or construction/fit‑out projects at multiple sites.
- Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, trades and crews across multiple sites.
- Strong remote project management skills – schedules, budgets, safety and quality.
- Confident communicator who can lead, coordinate and motivate remote installation teams.
- A trade, construction, signage or shopfitting background is highly regarded.
