We are seeking a detail-oriented Mobile Automation Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for native and hybrid mobile applications. Your primary goal is to ensure high-quality releases through robust automation using Appium and integrated CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Framework Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable mobile test automation frameworks from scratch using Appium.
- Script Creation: Develop and execute end-to-end automated test scripts for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA ; collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolutions.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into continuous integration pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI .
- Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups, to align testing strategies with product requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Education:



Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in mobile automation testing specifically with Appium .
- Technical Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, locators (XPath, Accessibility IDs), and gestures.
- Experience with test runners and assertion libraries like TestNG , JUnit, Mocha, or Jest.
- Familiarity with Android Studio (ADB) and Xcode (XCUITest).
- Tools: Expert use of version control systems like Git .

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

- API Testing: Experience automating REST APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- BDD Frameworks: Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber or Gherkin.
- Performance Testing: Basic experience with mobile performance or load testing tools.
