Position Overview

This is an exciting contractor opportunity for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner looking to manage a varied community-based caseload while enjoying flexibility and robust earning potential.

You will work closely with participants, families, support coordinators and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) services. - Complete high-quality Functional Behaviour Assessments and behaviour support documentation.
- Work collaboratively with participants, families, support coordinators and allied health professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes.

- Provide coaching, education and practical strategies to carers, support workers and stakeholders.
- Monitor participant progress and adjust support plans as required.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports.
- Keep up to date with current PBS legislation, evidence-based practice and NDIS guidelines.

About You

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Behavioural Science or a related discipline.
- Registered or deemed suitable as a Behaviour Support Practitioner under the NDIS Commission.
- Previous experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support within the NDIS.
- Strong report writing and clinical reasoning skills.
- Excellent understanding of restrictive practice legislation and PBS frameworks.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

What's on Offer

- Excellent contractor earning potential
- Approximately $140 per billable hour
- Opportunity to earn up to 70% of the NDIS rate depending on experience
- Paid travel between participants

- Flexible working arrangements with autonomy over your schedule.
- Community-based role with access to clinic facilities where required.
- Supportive and family-oriented culture that genuinely values its clinicians.
- Established report templates, clinical resources and administrative support.
- Regular team lunches, social events and opportunities to collaborate with a passionate multidisciplinary team.
- Strong referral pipeline and consistent workflow.
