About the CompanyGulf Civil is growing and we’re looking for a Project Engineer to work across our Brisbane-based Pre-contracts team and live civil construction projects across QLD (local, regional, and remote as required).
About the RoleThis role suits an engineer who enjoys seeing projects end-to-end, from tender handover through to delivery rather than being stuck purely behind a desk or permanently on site. You’ll be involved early, contribute to planning and buildability, then support delivery teams on active works.
ResponsibilitiesSupport pre-contracts / tender teams with methodology development, programming input, and technical reviewsAssist with project planning, procurement, and early worksWork on live projects across: Roads & infrastructure Bulk earthworks Drainage & civil services.Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers,
and site teamsContribute to cost control, variations, and reportingRotate between Brisbane office and site-based work as required
QualificationsDegree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Required SkillsExperience as a Project Engineer or Site Engineer in civil constructionExposure to: Roads, earthworks, drainage, or infrastructure projectsComfortable working between office and site environmentsStrong communication and practical problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel regionally when required
