- Landmark 6 Star Green Star Facility
- Client-Side Role - Major Capital Project
- Campus-Based Position - Career development Opportunities
This landmark facility is scheduled for completion in 2027 and represents the largest development investment undertaken by this client-side organisation. The cutting-edge project is targeting 6 Star Green Star accreditation and will deliver world-class facilities designed to support long-term operational performance. An experienced Project Manager - Operational Readiness is sought to lead the planning and coordination of operational readiness, transition and handover activities. Acting as the primary interface between project delivery teams and operational stakeholders, you will ensure the building, services, systems, information and people are prepared for occupancy, go-live and ongoing operation. The role will support a well-controlled transition from project delivery into business-as-usual operations.
Key responsibilities include
- Developing and managing the operational readiness and transition plan
- Coordinating stakeholder readiness, operational integration, training and mobilisation
- Leading handover requirements, including asset information, documentation and operational acceptance
- Supporting occupancy, go-live and post-transition stabilisation
Ideally you will bring relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, Project Management, Property or Construction Management,
or equivalent professional experience. You will have demonstrated experience leading transitions, handovers or operational readiness for large and/or complex facilities, together with a strong understanding of building services, commissioning, asset management and facilities operations. Solid stakeholder management, planning and communication skills will be essential. This is a campus-based role, reflecting the hands-on nature of operational readiness and the need to work closely with project and operational stakeholders. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a strong and sustained onsite presence, with increased onsite requirements as the project approaches completion, transition and go-live.
This client-side organisation offers a supportive and cooperative working environment, together with excellent opportunities for career development. Its culture values inclusion and recognises employees' personal and family responsibilities, while maintaining a clear focus on operational delivery.
We are committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and cultures. If you require reasonable adjustments or additional support during the recruitment process, please let us know.
Only candidates with valid work rights in Australia can be considered.
