We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery for telecom.This role operates within Infosys’ Fixed Price model and requires strong ownership of scope, timelines, cost, quality, and stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience managing end-to-end telecom projects, ensuring predictable delivery outcomes, and driving efficiency through structured governance and proactive risk management with Infrastructure background
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end project delivery under Fixed Price (FP) engagement
- Drive project planning, execution, tracking, and reporting
- Manage stakeholder engagement across clients and internal teams
- Ensure scope control and change management to protect margins
- Lead risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution
- Monitor financials, including effort tracking and cost control
- Coordinate onsite and offshore teams for seamless execution
- Drive governance, reporting, and escalation management
- Identify automation and optimization opportunities
Required Skills & Experience
- 10 years of IT experience, with 5 years in Project/Program Management
- Strong telecom domain experience (Network, OSS/BSS, NBN/Optus preferred)
- Proven experience in Fixed Price delivery engagements
- Expertise in governance, financial tracking, and margin management
- Strong stakeholder management with senior leadership exposure
- Experience managing distributed (onsite–offshore) teams
- Solid risk and issue management capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Optus/Australian telecom ecosystem
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications
- Exposure to transformation programs or platform modernization
Minimum Years of Experience: 12-18 yrs
