About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, energetic and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our Housekeeping team on a Part-Time basis.
As a Public Area Attendant, you will play an essential role in creating an exceptional first impression for our guests by ensuring all public and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will work closely with the Housekeeping team to ensure our hotel remains welcoming, safe and immaculate throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all public areas, including the lobby, corridors, public amenities, staff facilities and back-of-house areas.
- Ensure all public spaces are consistently presented to the highest hotel standards.
- Carry out scheduled deep cleaning and regular cleaning duties as allocated.
- Safely use, store and maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards and damaged equipment promptly.
- Assist with equipment stocktakes and maintain housekeeping storerooms.
- Ensure the security of keys and public/back-of-house areas at all times.
- Respond promptly to guest requests while delivering friendly and professional customer service.
- Support the Housekeeping team with operational requirements as needed.
- Follow ERDI, Accor and Workplace Health & Safety standards and procedures at all times.
Skills & Experience
- Previous housekeeping or public area cleaning experience within a hotel environment is highly regarded.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
- Positive attitude with excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
