Harding's Hardware is currently seeking a self-motivated, reliable individual to join the team as a Purchasing Officer operating out of our Berrinba Queensland Office. This position will suit an enthusiastic individual with a strong attention to detail ability to work within a team environment and a focus on continuous improvement.
What you will be doing
- Procurement of stock.
- Stock control.
- Liaising with suppliers via phone and email.
- Assisting with the return of credits to suppliers.
- Assisting with all aspects of stocktakes.
- Ability to identify changing trends and stock requirements of our clients.
- General office duties
- Any other duties specified by your manager or supervisor
What you will bring

- High level of verbal and written communication skills
- Previous purchasing experience
- Ability to work within the constraints of a purchasing budget
- Previous experience in a trade environment and associated products (beneficial but not essential)
