Role Description This part-time remote QA Analyst / Software QA Tester role is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Zip Incorporadora’s software products. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing requirements and specifications, designing and executing manual test cases, and documenting test results in a clear and structured manner.

The role involves identifying, analyzing, and reporting defects, collaborating with developers and product stakeholders to clarify issues, and verifying fixes in subsequent releases. The QA Analyst / Software QA Tester will contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, maintain test documentation, and support regression, functional, and user acceptance testing as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, and analyze defects and trends.




- Proficiency in Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices to ensure consistent standards across software releases.
- Hands-on experience with Manual Testing and creating, maintaining, and executing detailed Test Cases.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar).
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Explicit written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Previous experience in software QA or testing; relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
