Associate and Senior Associate – Plaintiff Personal Injury
Our client, a growing national law firm, is seeking experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Lawyers to join its practice at either Associate or Senior Associate level.
Working closely with experienced Partners, you will manage a varied caseload across plaintiff personal injury law. The firm is open to candidates from a broad range of backgrounds, including workers compensation, work injury damages, motor vehicle accidents, public liability, medical negligence, institutional abuse and TPD claims.
You are not expected to have experience across every area. Candidates with strong experience in any area of plaintiff personal injury law are encouraged to apply, with opportunities available to broaden their expertise across the practice.
The level of appointment will depend on the successful candidate’s experience, technical capability and ability to manage matters independently.
What We Are Looking For
To be considered, you should have:
- A current Australian Practising Certificate
- Experience practising in plaintiff personal injury law
- Minimum 3+ years of post-admission experience for Associate-level candidates
- More substantial post-admission experience, strong file-management capability and greater autonomy for Senior Associate-level candidates
- Experience in one or more areas of plaintiff personal injury law
- The ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively with Partners and the wider team
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and sound file-management skills
- Empathy and active-listening skills when assisting clients through difficult circumstances
- A practical and committed approach to achieving positive outcomes for clients
- Candidates with relevant pre-admission personal injury experience will also be considered when assessing the appropriate level of appointment.
