Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2026.

Our Wantirna South campus is recruiting passionate Secondary Teachers to join our teaching team in 2027. We have both anticipated and current ongoing and fixed-term positions available that are a combination of part-time and full-time. These opportunities are from across a range of subject areas, including:

- Engineering
- Systems
- English
- Science
- Drama

We are also seeking an experienced educator to lead our Art and Design faculty. As Head of Art and Design, you will oversee curriculum development, support staff, and foster a culture that inspires creativity, strengthens critical thinking skills, and equips students to communicate ideas and engage thoughtfully with the visual world around them.

You’ll join a community of educators who care deeply about the wellbeing and faith formation of students, helping them grow as confident learners and followers of Christ. As a learning community, we are committed to professional growth and collaborative practice, as together we prepare young people to live out their faith and learning for the sake of others.

The successful applicant must:





- Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). We will consider applicants that apply through our Graduate Teacher expressions of interest.
- Be qualified and able to teach one or more Secondary subject areas, with current opportunities including Engineering, Systems, English, Science and Drama.
- Have high level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
- Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities.
