An industry-leading developer-builder is seeking an experienced WHSE Manager to join its growing team, delivering one of Sydney's most significant Class 2 residential developments.
This is a rare opportunity to play a key leadership role on a landmark $1–2 billion master planned multi-residential development, working with an established business renowned for delivering high-quality projects across NSW.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of project WHSE systems and procedures.
- Promote a positive safety culture across all site personnel, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company standards.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on WHSE matters, incident prevention, and risk management.
- Lead incident investigations and implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Monitor subcontractor WHSE performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training.
- Prepare WHSE reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Liaise with clients, regulators,
and external stakeholders as required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and environmental performance across the project.
About You
- Previous experience as a WHSE Manager or Senior WHSE professional within the construction industry.
- Sound knowledge of NSW WHS legislation, ISO standards, and construction safety management systems.
- Robust leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to influence safety culture across large project teams.
- Relevant WHS qualifications and White Card.
