Based in our Perth CBD Head Office, you'll combine strategic quality leadership with hands-on influence across project teams, helping drive continuous improvement while building work you can be proud of.

The Opportunity

As the Quality & Maintenance Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving Built's quality management systems, ensuring our projects are delivered to the high standards we're known for. Working closely with project teams, leaders and subcontractors across the business, you'll influence quality outcomes from pre-construction through to defect management and project completion.

In this role, you will:

- Champion quality across projects by driving the consistent application of Built's Quality Management System and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Partner with project and maintenance teams to identify risks early, investigate quality issues and implement practical solutions that improve outcomes.
- Lead quality audits and reviews that strengthen compliance, promote accountability and drive continuous improvement.
- Support the successful management and close-out of defects and maintenance activities, ensuring works are completed to Built's standards and client expectations.
- Coach, influence and build capability across project teams and subcontractors, creating a proactive quality culture across the business.

Success in this role will be measured by the quality outcomes achieved across projects, the effectiveness of maintenance and defect resolution processes, and your ability to build a culture of continuous improvement that supports exceptional project delivery.

What we are looking for





We're looking for someone who can influence stakeholders, drive continuous improvement and deliver positive outcomes across project delivery and maintenance operations.

You may already be working in a quality-focused role or bring transferable construction experience that would set you up for success in this chance.

You may bring experience in of the following areas:

- A qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Building or a related construction discipline.
- Lead Auditor certification in Quality Management Systems or a similar auditing qualification (highly regarded but not essential).
- Experience in quality, project delivery, construction, engineering, maintenance, compliance or a related discipline where you've been responsible for driving standards, solving problems and improving outcomes.
- Knowledge of quality assurance systems, auditing, compliance and risk management principles.
- Experience managing quality issues, defects, compliance matters, risk investigations or continuous improvement initiatives.
- The ability to build trusted relationships and positively influence project teams, subcontractors and senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for driving quality, accountability and continuous improvement.
