Synergie is seeking Recycling Sorters for a leading waste management company located in Rooty Hill The important parts:
- Day and Afternoon Shift available
- Day shift: 4am-12pm
What you will be required to do:
This role involves hands-on sorting of waste and recyclable materials in a busy facility. The environment can be dusty, noisy, and physically demanding, and requires a strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
- Sort contamination from a rapid-moving conveyor line (repetitive and fast-paced work)
- Clean work areas and outdoor spaces as required
- Perform waste audits and provide accurate reports for local council reps and clients
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
To be successful in the role you will:
- Be comfortable working in a loud, dusty, and repetitive environment
- Be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
- Have strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Have access to reliable transport and the ability to get to Eastern Creek
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role
