Claims can be complex, but the support behind them should feel clear, organised and straightforward.

We’re looking for a Claims Support Officer to join our Claims team and help keep things moving across our Farm and Agricultural portfolios.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll support claim lodgements, maintain accurate records, coordinate with brokers and service providers, and assist with lower-value and lower-complexity claims within your authority. You’ll work closely with the wider Claims team to make sure customers and stakeholders receive timely updates, enquiries are followed up, and claims are progressed as efficiently as possible.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Process new claim lodgements and help progress claims
- Manage lower-value and lower-complexity claims within approved authority limits
- Monitor shared inboxes, call queues, complaints and customer enquiries
- Liaise with brokers, assessors, loss adjusters and service providers
- Maintain accurate claim records, correspondence and documentation
- Support financial administration, recoveries and claims reporting
- Assist with portfolio monitoring and day-to-day operational tasks
- Escalate issues where needed and follow up outstanding actions "e">
- Support compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and claims handling standards
- Contribute ideas to improve Claims processes

Experience in insurance, claims, financial services or another regulated workplace would be highly regarded, but a practical mindset and willingness to learn are just as important.
