Provide technical assistance to physicians and staff during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. This role supports a combo lab workplace specializing in Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, Vascular, and Electrophysiology.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the provider while performing diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.
- Scrub and circulate Interventional Radiology (IR) and Cath Lab procedures.
- Scrub and circulate cardiology procedures.
- Assist with the implantation of Vice Implants (PPM, ICD).
- Operate specialized equipment relevant to IR and cardiology procedures.
SCHEDULE / SHIFT
- 8-hour day shift: 07:30 - 16:00
- No holiday RTO allowed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Must have Interventional Radiology (IR) experience (approximately 90% of procedures are IR).
- Ability to scrub and circulate diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.
- Ability to perform EKG lead placement.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as a traveler is not required.
- ARRT Advanced Certification.
- RCES certification.
- RCIS certification with medical experience.

- Emphasis on Interventional Radiology (approximately 80% of procedures).
FLOATING / ON-CALL
- No Float Requirement.
- Weekend Requirement: Every Third Weekend.
- Call Requirement:
- Minimum of 7 call days per month.
- Typical schedule includes two call days per week for two weeks each month and one call weekend per month.
- Additional call coverage may be required to meet departmental needs, rotated equitably among staff.
- Expect urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures. Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs; IR callback time is based on procedure type.
- Call team consists of three staff members, one of whom is an RN.
