We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Chemical Blender to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately blending chemical products according to approved formulas, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, weigh, and blend raw materials according to batch sheets and standard operating procedures.
- Operate and monitor blending, mixing, and filling equipment.
- Perform quality checks and record production data accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of blending equipment and work areas.
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Identify and report equipment faults or production issues.
- Assist with stock control and material handling as required.
- Work collaboratively with production and quality assurance teams.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in chemical manufacturing, blending, or production is preferred.
- Ability to follow written instructions and formulas accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive numeracy and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to safely handle chemicals and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
