Positions

Labourforce is currently hiring for two positions: a Compliance Officer for our client in Hazelmere, and a Customer Service Representative for our client in Forrestdale.

Hours: Full time with 7am – 8am starts (as rostered). Possible overtime may be required. Candidates must have their own car and a valid licence, and must have unlimited working rights in Australia (no student visas or WHV).

Compliance Officer – Hazelmere

The role involves working in a cold‑storage company handling frozen and chilled food products. You will support best practice of Safety & Food Safety culture, assist with the development and implementation of site‑specific targets and safety programmes, collect and collate data, produce reports to support initiatives, and help train staff to meet compliance with food safety standards and relevant government bodies.

Essential experience within Australia:

- 3 years + experience in a similar role
- Qualifications in Food Safety or related disciplines
- Experience with implementing safety procedures, product safety, quality in line with legislation
- Quality management systems
- Experience in conducting operational risk assessments
- Experience with supporting or conducting internal audits
- Accreditation in workplace training qualifications is desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service, problem‑solving and influencing skills
- Solid time‑management and organisational skills
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Strong teamwork focus





Customer Service Representative – Forrestdale

The role is in an ambient (normal temperature) environment working for our client that specializes in the distribution of glass products. The primary focus is to provide a high level of service to customers by fulfilling purchase orders and attending to customer queries. You must ensure that all sales are invoiced in a timely manner and that customer returns are processed efficiently. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for maintaining customer relationships and reports directly to the Branch Manager.

- Proven experience as a customer service representative (3+ years in Australia)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organisational and time‑management skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Answer and respond promptly to customer enquiries and issues
- Service customers and process customer orders
- Issue invoices and process customer returns and credits
- Handling customer payments and banking
- Ensuring that other warehouse employees are working effectively
- Contact Debtors to recover any debts outstanding (if requested)
- Organise customer deliveries
- Manage external freight companies
- Work with the Branch Manager and Warehouse supervisor to manage driver’s schedules
- Arrange internal stock transfer requests
- Arrange buy‑in of certain goods and receive office deliveries
- Assist with accessories stock‑take
- Perform random daily and weekly inventory checks
