Remuneration: $81,748.17 - $114,771.98 per annum

Hours Per Week: 38 (Job share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing

As a Registered Midwife in the MAPS team, you will provide evidence-based,



woman and family-centred care across the pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey. Working collaboratively with women, families and the multidisciplinary team, you'll deliver high-quality care that supports positive health outcomes while promoting continuity, education and clinical excellence.

- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised midwifery care
- Provide continuity of care across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal services
- Collaborate with women, families and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Support students, Assistants in Midwifery and fellow midwives through education and mentoring
- Promote evidence-based practice, quality improvement and culturally responsive care

Essential Criteria

- Registration: Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria

- Identify your area of specialty or interest from the following selection - birthing, maternity, women's health clinics, midwifery at home, midwifery continuity of care models.
- Recent relevant experience in a clinical setting as deemed appropriate by WSLHD.
- Provide name and contact details (phone number and email)



of two referees, one of which must be a current line manager.

- What does woman centred care mean to you?
- Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail.
- Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems.
