Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking to join a supportive, patient-focused cardiology practice where you can make a genuine difference?

The Heart Centre is a well-established specialist cardiology practice committed to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care to our community. We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our growing clinical team.

About the Role

This permanent part-time position (3 days per week) offers a varied and rewarding role working alongside our cardiologists, Heart Failure Clinical Nurse Consultant, cardiac sonographers and administration team.

Your responsibilities will include

- Assisting with Stress Echocardiography clinics

- Supporting Cardiac Device (Holter monitor) Clinics

- Working collaboratively with our Heart Failure Clinical Nurse Consultant to support patients with chronic heart failure

- Performing ECGs and patient assessments

- Preparing patients for cardiac investigations and procedures

- Providing patient education regarding cardiac conditions, medications and lifestyle management

- Monitoring patients during cardiac testing and responding appropriately to clinical changes

- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

- Assisting with infection prevention and quality improvement activities

- Supporting other clinical services within the practice as required

- Adapting to the changing needs of a busy specialist cardiology practice

About You

You are a compassionate and professional Registered Nurse who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team and thrives in a dynamic clinical environment.

You will ideally have

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse





- Minimum 2 years post-registration experience

- Experience in cardiology, critical care, emergency or medical nursing (highly desirable)

- Experience with cardiac monitoring and ECG interpretation

- Excellent clinical assessment skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- High attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care

- Flexibility and willingness to assist across multiple clinical areas

Experience with stress echocardiography or heart failure management is highly desirable but not essential. Training can be provided for the right applicant.
