About the Role: We are seeking a Registered Nurses to join our team on a Part-Time or Full-Time basis!
You will be based at our Hillview House, located at 45 Hillview St Woy Woy NSW 2256.
Hillview House is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide high level clinical care to meet resident’s individual care needs that will help enhance their quality of life. This includes ensuring that our resident care and treatments are documented to meet regulatory requirements, communicating effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and relatives as well as providing leadership and supervision to other nursing staff. This position will suit professional RNs who are versatile and passionate about aged care. Sponsorship opportunities may also be considered for Registered Nurses currently working within our Central Coast locations, subject to eligibility and applicable terms and conditions.
Skills and Experience:
- Current AHPRA registration (Essential).
- At least 2-3 years experience as an RN withing aged care in Australia (Essential)
- Valid Police Check (Essential).
- A good understanding of contemporary aged care,
clinical practice and clinical leadership in a residential setting.
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to problem solve, negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict.
- Great communicate skills and confidence to lead and actively contribute to a team.
- Strive for excellence in customer service and promote an environment of harmony and trust.
- Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written documentation and assessment skills.
- A good knowledge of the aged care accreditation standards.
- Confidence in mentoring and providing supervision of PCW-DCs
- Confident and experienced in supervision of other nursing staff
