About Gaza Ridge Health Centre
The Gaza Ridge Health Centre is located on Gaza Ridge South at Bandiana near Wodonga. The Albury Wodonga Military Area consists of 3 barracks and is home to the Army’s Logistic Training Centre, Joint Logistics Unit Victoria and Schooling in various areas. This is a large base providing services to over 5000 Defence Force members. The health centre provides primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care. There is also a 20-bed low dependency ward which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The standard operating hours are 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on‑call shifts).
This role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.After-hours,weekendand on‑call shifts may be required depending on role requirements and base location.This is a full time role .
What you’ll do
- Delivernursing care to Defence personnel under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Provide outpatient care, and where required support inpatient care within a health centre or hospital setting
- Administer medications (where endorsed) in line with legislative requirements and clinical protocols
- Assistwith patient assessments, treatmentplansand health promotion activities
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe,efficientand high-quality care
What you bring
- Currentunconditional and unrestricted AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2)
- Minimumtwoyears’ post registration nursing experience in acute care, primaryhealthcareor similarsettingwithin the last five years
- Medication endorsement (if applicable to role requirements)
- Commitment to clinical governance, infectioncontroland high-quality patient care
- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
- Australian Citizenshiprequired(baseline security clearance)
- Commitment to CPD and ongoing career development
