About This Opportunity The Academic Services Division (ASD) is offering an exciting internal opportunity to join a structured, capability-driven development program designed to build the next generation of administrative professionals at UQ. You'll develop a strong foundation in student services, university systems, operational processes and customer-focused administration while supporting a diverse range of student enquiries. Through a supported development pathway, you'll strengthen your technical capability, expand your knowledge of student and academic administration, and play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences to the UQ community. This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to broaden their skills, take the next step in their career, and make a meaningful contribution to the student experience at UQ.

Key responsibilities will include: Delivering exceptional customer service and support to students and stakeholders. Responding to student enquiries and providing accurate advice on UQ policies, procedures and processes. Processing student-related applications, requests and transactions with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Providing administrative support across a range of Academic Services Division functions. Applying University systems, policies and procedures to deliver efficient and effective student services. Building collaborative relationships with academic and professional staff across UQ.

This is a full-time, continuing role at HEW Level 4.

About You We are seeking a motivated, organised and versatile colleague who is eager to learn, adaptable to change, and committed to providing excellent service in a busy student and academic administration workplace. A relevant degree or associate diploma with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and training. Strong interpersonal and communication skills,



with sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential matters. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Digital confidence, including Microsoft applications and the ability to rapidly learn systems such as SI-net, Business Objects, UniFi, Unitask, CRM and TRIM. A genuine customer service mindset and confidence supporting high-volume enquiries and administrative processes. Initiative, agility and openness to change, with a clear desire to learn, grow and develop new skills.
