Job Title - REQM Requirements Integration Officer

- Location: Australia (across)

- Attendance: Land Branch, as a general rule, require all new consultants to attend a site where they have a footprint, 5-days/wk initially, with a view of decreasing to allow subject to satisfactory performance.
- The User and Requirements Integration Officer provides technical liaison and requirements assurance between emerging projects, user communities and engineering authorities. The role focuses on early engagement, requirement clarification and technical integration, ensuring evolving user needs are understood, feasible and appropriately scoped within approved capability, engineering and contractual constraints.

Key Responsibilities

- Support early identification and clarification of user‑driven technical requirements, ensuring they are well defined, traceable and technically coherent.
- Apply sound technical judgement to provide appropriate pushback where requests exceed technical feasibility, approved scope or program constraints.
- Support alignment between user intent and engineering solutions, identifying potential integration, safety or sustainment implications.
- Identify emerging technical risks arising from user requirements and escalate issues through appropriate engineering and pathways.

Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for initiatives of medium size and complexity. Facilitates input from stakeholders, provides constructive challenge and enables effective prioritisation of requirements.

Reviews requirements for errors and omissions. Establishes the requirements base-lines, obtains formal agreement to requirements, and ensures traceability to source. Investigates, manages, and applies authorised requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy.
