Position Title: Construction Scheduler

Reports To: Project Manager / Director

Location: Balcatta

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Scheduling professional to support our residential construction projects across Perth. This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of two years experience in a similar role and a solid understanding of the end-to-end home building process in Perth.

You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate construction schedules, coordinating with trades and suppliers, and supporting day-to-day administrative operations within a busy residential building environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Scheduling:

- Develop, update, and monitor construction schedules to align with project milestones and delivery timelines
- Liaise with site supervisors, trades, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure schedules remain on track
- Identify scheduling risks or delays and recommend adjustments to maintain momentum

2. Administrative Support:





- We're a small knit team and there will be times when you will be required to provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the construction and management team
- Maintain job files, project schedules, and other key documentation
- Support procurement processes, follow-ups, and material scheduling as needed

3. Stakeholder Coordination:

- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding project timelines and scheduling queries
- Coordinate communication between the office, site, suppliers, and clients to ensure everyone is aligned and informed

4. File and Document Management:

- Create, organise, and maintain project documentation in both digital and hard-copy formats
- Ensure document control and filing systems are up-to-date and compliant with internal policies

5. Estimation:

- Estimation experience would be an advantage as we would like to see this role assisting our Construction Manager in estimation from time to time.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of two years in a scheduling role within the Perth residential construction sector
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the home building process, construction terminology,



and typical project workflows
- Software Proficiency: Confident using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Evolve or call up system ideal
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, trades, and internal staff
- Organisation: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry, scheduling, and file management
- Team Player: Collaborative, dependable, and supportive with a solid work ethic

- Adaptable: Comfortable juggling a mix of high-priority tasks and routine admin work
- Reliable: Punctual, consistent, and responsible with a strong sense of ownership

Key Relationships:

- Internal: Project Manager, Director, Site Supervisors, and other office-based team members
- External: Clients, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other service providers
