An extension of Reine & La Rue, Privé and Bar Privé introduce a new chapter for the Gothic Bank Precinct. Featuring an elegant cocktail bar alongside a collection of beautifully appointed private dining rooms, Privé is both a destination in its own right and a seamless extension of Reine's grand dining room, offering intimate, elevated experiences within one of Melbourne's most iconic hospitality settings.

The Opportunity

We have a rare opportunity for an exceptional leader to join Reine & La Rue as General Manager, leading one of Melbourne's most distinctive dining destinations. This role will oversee Reine & La Rue, Privé and Bar Privé, driving the next chapter of growth across the business.

As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the venue, leading a high-performing team and delivering exceptional guest experiences across every touchpoint. You will champion operational excellence, inspire your leaders, and ensure the highest standards of service, culture and execution.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a premium, high-volume environment. You will lead from the floor, empower your team, drive commercial performance,



and continue to build on the reputation that makes Reine & La Rue one of Melbourne's leading hospitality destinations.

Our ideal candidate will have

- 5+ years of experience leading in premium dining venues.
- The ability to bring departments together, encouraging collaboration.
- Confidence in managing the day-to-day. Including invoicing, rostering, POS system management, maintenance and financial oversight of the venue.
- A solid understanding of food and wine, and a curiosity to keep learning.
- Exceptional planning skills and the ability to manage both your own and the team's time effectively.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions, acting with clarity, composure and confidence.
- A knack for noticing the little things and knows how to use this to elevate the Guest experience.
- A passion for sharing your creativity, knowledge and leadership, lifting those around you in the process.
- A genuine passion for food, beverage, and the broader hospitality world and a commitment to doing things with purpose.
