Restaurant Host / Front of House

Triim is a busy Italian-Mediterranean restaurant located on Hardware Lane in Melbourne CBD.

We’re looking for a friendly, confident and outgoing Restaurant Host / Front of House team member who genuinely enjoys talking to people and creating a great customer experience.

This is not a quiet, behind-the-scenes FOH role. You’ll be one of the first people our guests meet, so we need someone who is comfortable welcoming customers, starting conversations and creating a warm atmosphere.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include

- Welcoming and seating guests

- Speaking with walk-in customers and answering menu questions

- Providing friendly and attentive customer service

- Taking orders and processing payments

- Making food and drink recommendations

- Helping manage bookings and table flow

- Supporting the wider FOH team during busy periods

- Keeping the restaurant clean and presentable

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

- Genuinely enjoys talking to customers

- Is friendly, confident and approachable

- Has robust communication skills





- Provides great customer service

- Is comfortable speaking with people from different backgrounds

- Can work well in a fast-paced environment

- Is reliable, punctual and well presented

- Works well as part of a team

Previous hospitality experience is preferred, but personality, attitude and communication skills are especially important for this role.

Availability

We are looking for someone available for a mix of weekday and weekend shifts.

Friday and Saturday afternoon/evening availability will be highly regarded.
