We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Behavioural Therapy Assistant who is available to work with a family in Wavell Heights for 5sessions per week:
We are also open to splitting these sessions between two Therapy Assistants,
making this a great opportunity for candidates seeking part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in varied settings, including home/clinic/school
- Support clients in developing their skills; communication, social interactions and emotional regulation
- Collect client data to track progress and identify areas of improvement
- Foster a positive environment that encourages client participation
Skills & Experience
- Studying or completed a Degree/ Certificate in Psychology, Disability, Education, Occupational Therapy or related field (preferred)
- Experience working with children is highly desirable
- Robust communication skills, both written and verbal
- A passion for helping individuals reach their full potential

- Working with Children Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module - 'Quality, Safety and You'
- Australian Driver's License & Vehicle
- Laptop/iPad - you will be using your own device on shift
