Job Description:

System Z Technical Expertise

- Recognized technical contributor with solid z/OS system programming skills on the mainframe platform, not as computer operator, with minimum 18 years’ experience is free to apply.

- Strong exposure on adoption of product solutions/portfolio is a prerequisite.

- Proven ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of numerous variable factors is mandatory.

- Solid experience in mainframe Cybersecurity and/or DevOps is a must.

- Able to conduct technical presentations and/or Proof of Value with little supervision

- Working understanding of core business applications in FSI and/or government

- Architectural understanding of Hybrid Cloud integrating System z with public and private cloud

- Self-starter: requires independent daily decision‑making capabilities and actions.

Technical Skills

- Experienced on z/OS, preferably z/OS 3.1 and above

- ZOWE proficiency

- z/OSMF proficiency

- SMP/e proficiency

- AT-TLS skills – a prerequisite

- SAF (RACF, ACF2, TSS) skills - a prerequisite

- Unix/Linux, and containers some exposure to installing/configuring modern software would be beneficial.

- Working expertise in mainframe DevOps adoption (Endevor, Testing tools, Git, etc).

- Minimum 18 years of strong hands‑on experience as system programmer on mainframe platform, not as computer operator, is mandatory.

Soft Skills

- Problem‑solving:



Break down complexity and uncover obscure technical issues

- Structured communication: Clear insights delivered at different executive and technical levels

- Client management: Quickly building and sustaining trust.

- Comfortable to network with key contacts outside own area of expertise internally externally is an added advantage.
